Local Capuchin recalls introducing Shia LeBeouf to Gospel for Padre Pio role

Hold on to your seats folks, there’s a new film in town and it’s buzzing with Shia LaBeouf as the star of the show! “Padre Pio” has finally made its way to the states, and oh boy, what a ride it’s been.

Brother Jude Emmanual Quinto, a Denver-based Capuchin, shares his experience of introducing actor Shia LeBeouf to the Gospel for his role as Padre Pio.

Reviews are still pouring in, but there’s one lesser-known fact that’s got everyone excited: Shia LaBeouf’s real-life conversion to Catholicism. That’s right, portraying the revered saint and confessor has led LaBeouf down a path of faith that has been nothing short of miraculous. From living with Capuchin Franciscan friars at a friary in California to speaking in-depth with Bishop Robert Barron about his journey, LaBeouf has embraced Catholicism and is currently undergoing OCIA. Can you believe it? I sure can’t wait to see what the future holds for this newly converted Catholic star.

Thanks to divine intervention, LeBeouf is now on his way to becoming a catechumen and a fellow brother in the Catholic Church. Brother Jude humbly asks for prayers to support LeBeouf on his spiritual journey.
