Two leaders on the Denver restaurant scene heading for Texas, Louisianna

Combined with the national audience Colorado received as the host of the recently completed season of “Top Chef” — a season in which Bar Dough executive chef Carrie Baird was one of the most successful contestants — these kind of projects are giving the Centennial State a much greater visibility with national foodies and restaurant developers, said Juan Padro, a partner in Culinary Creative Group.

So now we are exporting chefs and restaurants?  Colorado still has a long way to go to be included as a top foodie destination but we are starting to get some recognition.  The chef talent here is better then it used to be but I still think we are a ways off from being a must stop culinary destination like New York or San Fran.  The ride up is fun though!
